Absolutely fantastic! Lovely B&B, so clean & homely. Very close to the harbour & village, just 5 minute walk. Peter & Janet are great hosts & looked after us very well. Amazing views & an all round great place to stay. Not forgetting Mystic the Cockapoo - she’s just gorgeous & gives great cuddles! Highly recommend! Looking forward to going back & taking our new addition to the family - Bella, a Cavapoo!read more

Stayed for 3 nights while walking the coast path between Penzance & Falmouth. Peter's lifts to/from the path were really useful, room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, breakfast was lovely (lots of Cornish produce), and Mystic the dog was a delight. Only 5 mins walk from the harbour - will stay again.read more

If you plan to stay in Porthleven PJ‘s B&B is the place to chose. You not only get a spacious room with a beautiful view to the harbour, a comfortable bed and a great breakfast with a variety of things but also friendly hosts who, for example, give you a lift to Lizard Point so you can have a nice walk back to Porthleven. I also enjoyed talking to them to get to know more about the Cornish way of life. In a nutshell: I can highly recommend this B&B!read more

We had a 5 night stay as we were walking the coastal path. It was very helpful that Peter offered lifts to and from our start/finish points each day for a small charge. The room, with sea views was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was varied and freshly cooked. Would certainly recommend.read more

We stayed two nights in Porthleven with Peter, what a great find, we wished we’d stayed longer. A light and spacious room, with views across to the sea. Comfy bed, nice linen, good shower. The cooked breakfasts were all freshly cooked and excellent. Freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit and a variety of cereals were also on offer. We were walking the South West Coastal Path and Peter was extremely knowledgable and helpful regarding this. He dropped us off and picked us up at several different points of the walk (for a very reasonable sum) which made our walking so much easier and more enjoyable. I hadn’t realised that, if requested, he would cover the whole of the Lizard’s SWCP for drop offs and pick ups. The property is about 5 minutes walk from the pretty town centre where there are loads of good quality eateries for all budgets. Had we known we’d happily have had more nights here.read more

Peter and Janet were lovely hosts and we greatly enjoyed our stay at their B&B. Top notch breakfast (the best we encountered in Cornwall), and extremely comfortable bedroom and space to relax after our days of walking. Peter is eager to chat and share his knowledge of the area and it is very clear that he enjoys hosting people from around the world. Additionally, Porthleven is a cute little town with some very good dining options. Highly recommended.read more

Delightful three night stay - and still not enough time to sample all the excellent, and original breakfast choices! Immaculate and spacious room with comfortable beds (we had twin). Peter and Janet are excellent hosts. An easy walk into Porthleven harbour, and a brilliant choice of b&b for walkers, especially if you are doing the SWCP. Although we were able to use to use local bus from the harbour, transport pick up/drop off available. You could stay here for several nights without using your car, or indeed arriving in one. Lots of choice for evening meals in Porthleven.read more

A superbly designed and private room with a super view of the harbour and beyond. The breakfasts were tremendous. Peter and Janet were excellent hosts and Mystic, their dog, was a joy. The location is perfect to enjoy the lovely town which is a 5 minute walk away, the beach and the Cornish Coastal Path.read more

PJ’s is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed 4 nights whilst walking the path, and got lifts to our starting and ending points along the path. The rooms are beautiful, fresh and clean.
